Riverhead, located in Suffolk County on Long Island, has historically served as an entry point to the East End and can now also boast of being included among the world's 50 best places to visit for 2023.

Forbes Advisor considers the North Shore town to be a spectacular travel spot, rivaling more exotic destinations such as Seychelles, the Canary Islands, and Qatar.

Justine DiGiglio of Discover Long Island cited that Riverhead is a major contributor to Long Island's booming $6.3 billion tourism sector.
