Officers are looking for the person responsible for carrying out an indecent act at Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove.

Authorities are giving out a monetary prize to anyone who can contribute information that aids in locating the man who displayed himself to a female and demonstrated an offensive action at Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove in December, as explained by the Suffolk police.

Police reported that a crime took place at the Barnes and Noble café at around 4:35 p.m. on Dec. 9.

Anyone from the public with knowledge regarding the incident can report it anonymously to the Suffolk County Crime Stoppers by either dialing 1-800-220-TIPS or downloading the P3 Tips app available through the App Store or Google Play, or sending information via their website www.P3Tips.com. All forms of communication will remain confidential.
