Law enforcement officials are looking into the matter after a female was wounded from the gunfire at a beverage establishment located in Long Island during the early morning hours of Sunday, January 15th.
At Outfield Pub, located at 168 Carleton Ave., a male confronted another male and pressed a pistol to his body, according to the Suffolk County Police.
An altercation erupted, resulting in the gun firing and wounding a female bystander in the throat. The man who had been involved in the argument received a head wound.
The suspect made an escape from the site.
The female victim was taken to a nearby hospital in a very serious state. The male victim was transported to a local hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
Investigators are requesting that anyone with any details concerning the gunfire to phone the Third Squad of the SCPD at 631-854-8352 or Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All communications will remain private.
